Summit Jazz Foundation teams with Broadband Video to stream live event
Swinging Jazz Concert heard live over the Internet
Englewood, CO – April 7, 2003 – The Summit Jazz Foundation has teamed with
BroadbandVideo, Colorado’s premier streaming media services provider, to bring
their monthly Swinging Jazz Concerts to listeners on the Internet.
The Summit Jazz Foundation produces the Swinging Jazz Concerts series bringing
together internationally acclaimed artists who have earned reputations as
dedicated exponents of traditional, mainstream and swing with an emphasis on
collective improvisation. The Swinging Jazz Concerts are held at the Donald R.
Seawell Grand Ballroom within the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
“This new partnership is an exciting way to expand what the Summit Jazz
Foundation brings to Denver music lovers each month,” said Summit Jazz Board
member Joyce Mirow. “These are some of the best jazz players in the world and we
want to make sure that we can reach as many people as possible with their
wonderful music.”
The event will be broadcast on April 12th beginning at 6:45 p.m. Log on to the

foster awareness and appreciation of traditional jazz through public concert
performances by internationally recognized artists. The Swinging Jazz Concert
