LIVE WEBCAST OF SOLD OUT FARM AID 2003 PRESENTED BY SILK SOYMILK
Music Fans Across the Country Still Have a Chance to See Willie Nelson, John
Mellencamp, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Dave Matthews and Others Live on

SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Music fans who weren’t able to buy a ticket to Farm Aid 2003
Presented by Silk Soymilk, scheduled for Sept. 7 at Germain Amphitheater in
Columbus, OH, can now see the show live via webcast on www.farmaid.org from 4
p.m. to 11 p.m.
BroadbandVideo, based in Centennial, CO, will provide the live streaming video
directly from the stage, using the house feed and mixed sound. Users must be at
a computer equipped with Windows Media 9 Player to view the webcast. Using
multiple bandwidth streaming, BroadbandVideo will present the concert using
“click and play” technology – enabling viewers to get the best possible video
delivery for their connection. Windows Media 9 Player is available for free from
http://www.microsoft.com.
“For the first time Farm Aid will bring this incredible show to viewers live on
www.farmaid.org,” said Carolyn Mugar, Farm Aid executive director. “This year,
the webcast is the only live way to see the amazing musical moments Farm Aid
always delivers. Viewers can also show their support for family farmers by
making a donation or by buying Farm Aid merchandise.”
The lineup for Farm Aid 2003 Presented by Silk Soymilk includes Willie Nelson,
Neil Young & Crazy Horse, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Sheryl Crow, Brooks &
Dunn, Emmylou Harris and many more.
There is a suggested donation of $20 for viewers of the webcast. Viewers can
also choose to become a member of the Farm Aid Farm Yard and receive a 10
percent discount on merchandise as well as access to special, insider
information.
