US U-18 NATIONAL TEAM TO OPEN 2004 IIHF WORLD U-18
CHAMPIONSHIP WITH AUDIOCAST

Minsk, Belarus – The United States U-18 National Team will begin its drive toward an International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) 2004 World Under-18 Championship with its opening game tomorrow, Thursday, April 8, 2004 game against Denmark at 3:00pm local time, 8:00am eastern standard time.

BroadbandVideo will be the audiocast host with access via the internet on the official website of USA Hockey, www.usahockey.com. Mark Evans (Marquette, Mich.), longtime radio voice of the Northern Michigan Wildcats, will have the call on this and all US National U-18 games throughout the World Championship.

The US team looks return to its 2002 IIHF World U-18 Gold Medal form and improve upon the 2003 World Championship fourth place finish.

“The team is focused and looking forward to starting the tournament,” stated Head Coach John Hynes.
